NIDUM Casual Luxury Hotel is located in Mösern on the Seefeld Plateau in the Austrian Tyrol. The project combines contemporary hotel architecture, extensive wellness facilities and the natural Alpine environment into a unified concept, where the building’s location itself becomes part of the guest experience.
The architectural concept was developed by Arkan Zeytinoglu Architects. Due to the challenging terrain, the large building volume was divided into several sections and integrated into the hillside. An underground car park and technical service areas located on the lower level made it possible to keep the main grounds almost entirely free from vehicle traffic.
Guest rooms, public spaces and outdoor terraces are oriented towards panoramic views of the valley and surrounding mountains. This approach allows the architecture to work with the landscape rather than compete with it, making the natural setting one of the project’s defining features.
Comfort, Space and Wellness Facilities
Today, the hotel offers 57 spacious rooms and suites, several restaurant areas, outdoor terraces, a fitness zone and an extensive SPA complex.
One of the project’s most distinctive features is its wellness area with indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The infinity pool is positioned to provide uninterrupted panoramic views of the Alps, visually extending into the surrounding landscape.
Energy-Efficient Engineering Solutions
Particular attention was paid to the building’s energy efficiency during the development of the project. Its compact structure, enhanced thermal insulation, effective solar shading and use of renewable energy sources help reduce both operating costs and the environmental impact of the complex.
Solar systems and wood-pellet boilers are used for heating and hot water production. After completion, the project received the Austrian klimaaktiv certification, confirming the building’s high standards of energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

NIDUM Casual Luxury Hotel demonstrates how a large hospitality project can successfully combine challenging terrain, architecture, engineering systems and its natural surroundings.
Rather than dominating the landscape, the complex becomes a natural extension of it, bringing together a high level of comfort, contemporary architecture and energy-efficient solutions within one coherent concept.
