“Dyvosvit” is a large multifunctional family entertainment center located in the Obolon district of Kyiv, close to the Obolon metro station.
The complex was created as a space that brings together entertainment for children and adults, public areas, dining facilities and additional commercial functions within a single building. At the time of its opening, “Dyvosvit” was considered one of the largest family entertainment centers in Ukraine.
A Multifunctional Space
The total area of the four-storey complex is approximately 7,317 m². The building’s layout was designed to accommodate different types of spaces simultaneously and to handle a high visitor flow.
In its original concept, the complex included children’s play and entertainment areas, amusement attractions, arcade machines, a 4D cinema, café spaces and areas designed for family leisure.
Architecture with a Distinct Identity
The exterior appearance of “Dyvosvit” is based on a bright and expressive architectural language that reflects the purpose of the building. The sculptural façades, vivid color accents and distinctive decorative elements create a memorable image and make the complex stand out within the urban environment.
At the same time, the architecture addresses more than just image. Inside the building, retail, public, administrative and technical areas are combined together with dining zones and spaces for active leisure.
Location and Urban Integration
One of the key advantages of the project is its location directly next to the Obolon metro station and major transport routes in the district. This provides convenient access both for local residents and for visitors coming from other parts of Kyiv.
Result
“Dyvosvit” became an example of a specialized family-oriented complex in which the architecture was built around scenarios of recreation, entertainment and shared leisure time.
The project demonstrates how a single building can combine diverse functions and become an independent urban destination with a strong architectural identity.
